Via ferrata Ottorino Marangoni - Monte Albano

This famous Via Ferrata is close to the town of Rovereto in the province of Trentino.

It is a very exposed route traversing the vertical and overhanging yellow walls of Monte Albano. It was re-equipped in 2014 and is now easy to follow thanks to a steel cable that runs without interruption from the start right to the summit. Numerous steel steps help to overcome the steepest sections.

This ferrata is suitable for those with some previous experience who want a route that involves a bit more climbing than usual.

The best time for this trip is in spring or autumn.
