This is one of the longest via ferratas in southern Trentino. It is not particularly difficult technically but very physically demanding because of its length.

The ferrata climbs up the weakest points of the imposing east face of Monte Casale in the middle of an incredible ocean of rock, with a height difference of 1520 m. You ascend enormous slabs of grey limestone below incredible rock overhangs to reach the summit of Monte Casale at 1632 m above sea level, which surprisingly presents a pleasant green meadow where you can enjoy a well earned rest. 

The descent route forms a circuit back to the departure point.
